Healthy eating & exercise

This clip shows young people with diabetes talking about how important it is for them to exercise and eat healthily. They also describe the symptoms that may indicate that they have high or low blood sugar levels, and how they monitor and manage changes in their blood sugar levels. This clip is one in a series showing young Indigenous and non-Indigenous people talking about their experience of type 1 diabetes.

These Speaking from Experience clips features seven young people talking about the ways in which type 1 diabetes has affected their life. It was produced in partnership with Diabetes Australia VIC and Aboriginal Medical Service of Western Sydney .
