Asthma

My future

This clip shows six young people with asthma discussing its potential effect on their future. Each one shares their goals and hopes, and some explain how asthma has influenced their decision to work in the health field. They discuss the significance of medication in managing asthma and in achieving their future goals and aspirations. This clip is one of a series in which Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people speak about living with asthma.

These Speaking from Experience clips offer first-hand accounts from 6 young people who are living with asthma. They discuss the impact that it has had on their lives and the ways they manage this chronic condition. It was produced in partnership with The Asthma Foundation and Aboriginal Medical Service of Western Sydney
