Epilepsy

Words of wisdom

This clip shows young people talking about the main things they have learned from living with epilepsy. Finding out more about their epilepsy, setting goals and managing stress levels are important to them. They also speak about resilience, having a strong support network and of the two-way benefit of being able to communicate freely with others of their age who are in a similar position because of epilepsy. This clip promotes greater awareness of epilepsy to all young people, including to those living with it. It is one of a series of clips in which seven young people discuss life with epilepsy.

These Speaking from Experience clips feature seven young people talking about the impact that Epilepsy has had on their lives. It was produced in partnership with The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria.
